Hello! Today I am sharing some shaker tags I made over the weekend. I really enjoy making gift tags as much as I like making cards. I love wrapping presents and gift tags are the perfect finishing touch!
For these tags, I used the Essentials Shaker Tags dies from Pinkfresh Studio and Unicorn Love digital stamp set from Isabel Christina. I printed out my images in a laser printer on Bristol Smooth paper, cut them out, and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
I planned out what tags I wanted to create, arranged them to create a frame, and cut them out with my die cutting machine. When I was done cutting, I had three framed tags and three non framed tags, which were going to be the back of the tag. I decided to use distress oxide ink on the non framed tags. I used the ink over a cloud stencil for two of the tags, and for one tag I just blended the ink color from dark to light. I attached acetate to the window opening and foam tape onto the back edge of each of the frames, added sequins, and attached the background. To finish the card, I attached the images and sentiment, which were made in my printer, to each tag.
I hope you give this type of project a try! I always have a lot of fun making gift tags. I feel they are such a good thing to have in your stash so you can really take your gift to the next level!
Thanks for stopping by! – Mona
