I have really been enjoying participating in card challenges lately and decided to try this one over at CAS(E) this Sketch!
For this challenge, I decided to use images from Altenew’s Vintage Flowers stamp set to make a Thank You card. I cut a piece of white card stock with a stitched rectangle die, and I stamped the branch in the middle. I chose solid flowers in three different sizes and stamped them onto some white card stock. For the stamping, I decided to use distress oxide Ink. The distress oxide gave the flowers a bit of a chalky look. Next, I cut them out using my Brother ScanNCut.
I attached the flowers around the branches and raised some of the flowers with 3D foam tape for some dimension. Next, I stamped out a “Thank You” sentiment onto a scalloped oval and attached it to the card using some 3D foam tape. I added a small amount of Nuvo crystal drops to the center of each flower. To finish the card, I attached everything onto an A2 size top folding note card.
I really like this stamp set from Altenew. Its a very nice layering stamp set and you can even use some of the images to stamp out solid flowers if you want to!
Thanks for stopping by!
