These were the colors for the challenge:
For this card, I decided to try a technique I saw on Jennifer McGuire’s YouTube channel months ago. In her video, she showed creative uses for embossing folders and it really inspired me to try it out.
I created this card using the Sizzix Textured Impressions Floral Blossom embossing folder. This embossing folder is 3D and produces stunning raised flowers. I spread yellow ink over the flat side of the embossing folder. Next, I added a piece of white card stock and ran the folder through my die cutting machine.
I used the Pretty Pink Posh Hello Shaker die to cut out several dies from white card stock. I glued them together to create a dimensional frame. Next, I cut down the embossed background and glued it to the back of the frame
I attached the frame to the center of a pool colored square I cut out with a Sizziz Framelit die. I added a butterfly I made from an EK Tools Layering Paper Punch and finished the card by gluing everything onto a top folding 4.25 x 4.25 square card.
